Multitudes are addicted to bad news
However I avoid it as it causes me the blues
For decades I have watched crime increase
What does it take to be a world at peace
Is it that our children’s minds are polluted
As our headlines are certainly not diluted
Juveniles underdeveloped minds
Could lead to trouble of all kinds
Violence in video games and TV in the computer age
They are so fragile at this stage
This is the time to turn this around
Goodness and positivity can abound
