Urgent Call To Action

     The Editor:
     I presume by now you’ve completed your journey to the East. And I hope you were able to recuperate your banged up car, probably better than the fate of the animal that suffered the crash.
     All is well here at the abbey, although our numbers are terribly low, about a dozen of us left!
     I suppose your planned meetings may take the form of some written messages which could have the advantage of a more articulate form of communication.

     When I assess my energy and my preoccupation with ecology and place it beside what I heard last evening on the CBC Ideas — David Schweighardt who’s been teaching at Loyola and who extremely well articulated the need to transform our capitalist society into a cooperative lifestyle, I realize again the urgency of teaching tools of every kind like papers, radio, etc. URGENT CALL TO ACTION!
