New Book on Basic Communities

A quick note to say my book is now out. I could have brought it out earlier, but when Pope Benedict resigned in the spring, I felt that was no time to bring out a new book on Basic Christian Communities: better to wait until after his successor is named, and all the fuss has died down. Well we now have a new Pope, and I think he is going to be much easier to work with than his predecessors. My book is on the spirituality (or the method) of BCCs, and Remi De Roo has written a foreword. It is called The Word for Us: Spirituality and Community and is available from Amazon.com as an e-book at US$2.99, or in a traditional paperback format for US$9.99. I am also working on a new web-site, www.basiccommunity.ca, which will be up and running shortly. Send me your news, and let’s keep in touch.
