I met Fr. Bill Wilson, SJ in Vancouver this past spring. I enjoyed a visit, after a church service, with him and my friend.
Recently he sent a copy of his new book, Homilies For The Seasons to the ICN editor. We have been reading the homilies each Sunday for advent and Christmas.
After reading the first one, we quickly ordered 10 more copies to give as gifts to friends. It is beautifully written and based on scriptures as self reflection for each individual reading. I found that after each reading, we would have a discussion. This helped me to see where I came from, where I am at and further growth for me and with others in the bigger picture.
Bill Wilson is serving at St. Mark’s College at the University of B.C. in Vancouver after an earlier decade in Victoria as a Counselor and Earth Literacy teacher.
