Thank You for Special Tribute to Bishop Remi

The Editor:
I received the spring issue of ICN this week and am writing to thank you for the special issue and tribute to Bishop Remi. From the eulogy by Cardinal Czerny, to the tributes by Doug Roche, yourself and others, each article tells something special about the influential life of Bishop Remi as well as about the understanding and interest he had for all people he came in contact with. Even I, as a non-Catholic teacher at St. Andrew’s was included among those on whom his wisdom and theology made an impact.
In the early years of the school, as teachers we were scheduled an annual professional day to which the Bishop came and spent the time teaching us on various themes. He spoke both formally and informally on these occasions to the benefit of each of us.
You chose the picture for each article with care and together they give a glimpse of the caring and interested person Remi was. May he now be with the angels.
Thanks to you and your staff for this excellent remembrance of a good friend to you and to many.
