      The Editor
Thank you from the bottom of my heart to the Island Catholic News! This Letter to the Editor of ICN is many years long overdue, though I have expressed my thanks and appreciation to the Editor personally since the beginning! Throughout the years, ICN has shown many of my artworks in their wonderful editions over three decades. Whether appearing in black and white from earlier years to full vibrant colour in more recent years, support and appreciation of my paintings has been evident in the many images that have been used.

I’ve had the honour of having my paintings appearing in the centrefold of ICN editions at least twice, front and back covers quite a few times, and images more times than I can remember throughout the issues, most including my name, title of artwork and website link. I’ve also enjoyed featuring certain paintings used within ICN issues in several of my website art newsletters from time to time, each time providing ICN’s website link to all who receive my art newsletter, encouraging them to visit that progressive independent Catholic quarterly newspaper online.
As a decades-long artist and ICN subscriber, I’m very happy to have been able to make artistic contributions to the ICN since the 1986 founding of this iconic and important Catholic newspaper. Many other wonderful works of art by various artists have also appeared in issues continuously, all meaningful and enjoyable images over the years for readers to enjoy. Thank you ICN Editor and Team—may you be blessed with continuing success! (see artwork Forest Tranquility under the "Literary/Arts" tab.)
