Dear Pat:

Your piece “Bride of Sorrows” is a beautiful story of Marnie’s life and her years with the ICN.

Your own sadness and sense of loss also comes through as you remember your own time with her.

I met Marnie in my early teaching years at St. Andrew’s High School) (± 1982-3). I remember her smile and her encouragement as I got some students to become interested in Development and Peace when David Szollosy was working “up the hill” in the “Bishop’s Palace” as some called it?!!

This card tells you how I feel for you better than I can. May the Lord bless and keep you as you continue despite sadness.
