Long Time Cathedralite Passes

Sylvia de Dood of Salmon Arm, BC died October 28 in Victoria. Much of her adult life was spent in Victoria, coming here to work for the Federal Government in 1972. Sylvia, age 66, had the gift of hospitality and welcome. One of 13 children, she is buried at Mt. Ida Cemetery, Salmon Arm. A memorial liturgy was held in Victoria on November 20 at St. Joseph Friary. Her close friend Monica Nelson delivered the eulogy and the officiating priest was her friend Alfredo Monacelli. Sylvia rest in peace.
