The Editor:
It took the Vatican about 450 years to finally clearly admit Galileo was correct. It still wants to keep its head buried in the sand so as to avoid facing what science is coming up with. By so doing, it just continues to lose the respect of thinking human beings: It clings to the metaphorical account of the Garden of Eden as though it were concrete reality. It would be nice: The lion lies with the lamb, no earthquakes or volcanic eruptions no sickness, beautifully balanced weather all the time. Wow. Just tell me where it is and I’ll book my flight right away. Of course it may be on a planet somewhere else in our vast cosmos.
P.S. Women priests! Far out man! You folks get the Nobel Prize for patience.
