A ‘LEGEND IN HIS OWN TIME’ – Father Roy Bourgeois’ life story as a Maryknoll priest who coordinated the resistance to the murderous policies of the “School of America” at Fort Benning, Georgia. The assassin of Archbishop Oscar Romero was schooled there in the deadly arts. Roy Bourgeois’ struggle with the Vatican for his support of the ordination of women to the Roman Catholic priesthood has resulted in his dismissal as a priest and a member of his religious order. However, his struggle continues as he has petitioned the new pope for re-instatement. His book is self-published and can be obtained by writing to: Roy Bourgeos, M.M., P.O.
