Mount St. Mary Foundation Joins Marie Esther Society

The Editor:
After almost ten years of operation, the Mount St. Mary Foundation has decided to join the Marie Esther Society. While this means the Foundation will cease to operate, it also means that this important work will continue.
The Marie Esther Society, which owns and operates the Mount St. Mary Hospital is a Registered Charity and will assume responsibility for all of the Foundation’s assets, including the Sisters of St. Ann Legacy Fund. Therefore, the Foundation’s good work in supporting and enriching the lives of residents of the Hospital will continue.

Therefore, the Foundation’s good work in supporting and enriching the lives of residents of the Hospital will continue.
The Sisters of St. Ann’s vision of exceptional care for residents have always been a goal supported by all parties. Efforts to support music and pet therapy will continue, with the Marie Esther Society taking the lead. The Marie Esther Society will manage the Sisters of St. Ann Legacy Fund and the Fund will continue to support long-term pastoral and spiritual care for hospital residents.
On behalf of all the partners – the Mount St. Mary Foundation, the Marie Esther Society, the Mount Saint Mary Hospital, the Sisters of St. Ann and our supporters, we thank you for your support.
