Loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend Margaret Craddock passed away peacefully on November 10th at her home at Mount St. Mary’s in Victoria.
Mom was a passionate educator. She began her career as a school teacher, but when her “girls” came along she stayed home with them throughout the early years.
With her love of teaching always present, Mom began volunteering with the children’s Catechism program at St Elizabeth’s Church in Sidney. As the years went by, her knowledge was valued, and she was called upon to help grow and develop various programs. This would later lead to her roles with the Diocese of Victoria, St. John’s Nfld, and Winnipeg. The joy Mom felt sharing her love of reading with children made her a familiar face in so many schools, and sharing books and stories was something she felt privileged to do.
A celebration of Margaret’s life was held on December 8th at 1:00 pm at the Horseshoe Club of Victoria, 620 Kenneth St.
