I’ll go back to Ireland…
Maybe in the Spring…
but, Summer’s waiting in the wings
to dance her merry fling.
I’ll go back to Ireland…
but… maybe I’ll delay…
for Summer’s come in decadence,
with many a lazy day.
I’ll go back to Ireland…
I’ve quite made up my mind!
In Autumn, t’is the grandest place
and the weather’s kind!
When Winter comes to Ireland,
I’ll not have far to roam.
I’ll be with friends and family
in the land that I call home!
I’ll go back to Ireland…
Maybe in the Spring…
but, Summer’s waiting in the wings
to dance her merry fling.
I’ll go back to Ireland…
but… maybe I’ll delay…
for Summer’s come in decadence,
with many a lazy day.
I’ll go back to Ireland…
I’ve quite made up my mind!
In Autumn, t’is the grandest place
and the weather’s kind!
When Winter comes to Ireland,
I’ll not have far to roam.
I’ll be with friends and family
in the land that I call home!
