University of Pau in France, his wife Odette
Kankundiye is an accountant. Their five
children from top left, are Don-Divin, 17, Joe

The Manirakiza Family have been selected by the Anglican Diocese for a private sponsorship for year 2020. The family is from Burundi but have been in a refugee camp in Rwanda for over 6 years.
Their sponsors, the Central Africa Refugee Association (CARA) have alreadycollected$16,000whichisbeingheldintrustbytheAnglicanDioceseof BC. However, the fund is still $4,000 short of the total required to allow this family’sfiletobeconsideredforthe2020immigration applications. These funds help the family as they settle in Victoria.
