It is also the subject of the latest Evolutionary Christianity series. • Session 1 (Mar 6) Entanglement: Nothing is separate and everything is connected
    • Session 2 (Mar 7) Chaos: Why chaos is a good thing
    • Session 3 (Mar 8) Probability vs. Certainty: There is no certainty only probability
    • Session 4 (Mar 9) Emergence vs Prediction: There is no prediction only emergence
Understanding the implication of these four basic new understandings about how the universe in unfolding is critical to our ability to engage in dynamic ways. This series will be accessible to all levels of understanding and will help us engage the materials in ways that make it applicable to the other areas of our daily living and thinking – because everything is connected. There will be time each evening for small group discussion.
Our presenter will be Dr. Garth Mundle. Dr. Mundle, a native of Pugwash, Nova Scotia, is a graduate of Mount Allison University (Psychology, Music) and Pine Hill Divinity Hall (now Atlantic School of Theology). After serving in ministry in New Brunswick and Massachusetts, he pursued graduate study in Clinical Psychology and Counselling at Andover Newton Theological School and Boston University, receiving a Master of Sacred Theology degree, followed by a Doctor of Ministry degree.
Returning to Canada, he was appointed principal of St. Stephen’s Theological College in Edmonton. Following his first retirement, he spent several years in intentional interim ministry and leading global education/exposure tours to Israel/Palestine, Egypt, Africa and India. In addition he was a Scholar-in-Residence for a semester at the Tantur Institute in Jerusalem and spent another semester as a volunteer in management and planning with hospitals in India.
He has had an abiding interest in the relationship, or lack thereof, between Science and Religion. In recent decades he has explored, lectured and resourced workshops on the implications of discoveries in Quantum mechanics and theory for education, spirituality and organizational life, including congregations.
The cost is $10 per session or $30 for the series. Register online through our website beginning January 1,  2016:
