       To Harper, Mulcair, Trudeau:
Don’t make 2015 your Halloween (the joke’s on you) by catering to the extremes; rich versus poor and religion versus Atheism. Be neutral.
Your origins seem to be in Christianity but Christians have shown throughout history that they like to be duped; Druids of France, Britain, Ireland; Constantine of Italy (Roman Empire), and Hitler (Germany).
The Druids, like many religions, had a sun divinity; also, a divinity of the dead called Samhain or Samain whose feast was Nov. 1st. The Christians were duped into trying to outdo the Druids by making Nov. 1 the feast of the dead in heaven, that is, All Saints’ Day. That would make the evening of Oct. 31st, the Eve, so our Halloween.

Constantine duped the followers of Jesus into being a political power, a thought far from the mind of Jesus (Mat 4, 8-10 and Luke 4, 5-8) and Hitler duped Germany’s Christians. Russia’s Orthodox Christians were duped into thinking that the imbalance between the rich and the poor could be resolved by Atheism.
Enough with being duped, particularly about death. Enough of belief systems being mixed into politics.
       Peace, please
