Having learned to read by age four, Brigid never stopped going on to five university degrees and a lifetime of teaching. In mid-life she came upon the work of Carl Jung, who strongly influenced the direction of her search for the divine,. Thereafter she taught Jungian classes and spirituality, starting in St,. John’s in 1994 and moving to Victoria in 1999, where she lived until her death April 15, 2015. She is survived by brothers Dermott and Ray and extended family in Newfoundland. A celebration of life was held at First Metropolitan Church in Victoria on May 8, 2015.
